About Us

 

I started making my own products for a couple different reasons. One was to distract myself from changing diapers and running behind my babies everyday. I was so wrapped up in being who my family needed me to be that I was slowly losing my identity. The other reason is because after I had my twins i started having eczema spots and so did my babies. Then everybody else in the house just has dry skin and I was beyond tired of buying multiple different lotions for everybody. So i did a bunch of research about ingredient and whats good for the skin (literally became a licensed esthetician because I wanted to learn more), then made a couple batches and now everybody is in love and my eczema has calmed down tremendously. 

I let my personality come out when its time to name the products. Usually the names reflect a fragrance makes me feel, or if I just want to have an attitude about it, the name is going to come out real sassy. I'm the youngest sibling in my family and never had a filter so you can definitely expect that from me at all times. I'm determined not to hold in my feelings and this is the safest outlet.

New Flame Essentials is a brand I created because I needed to turn over a new leaf in my life. Postpartum had me in such a hold that I had no choice but to trust that God would bring me through the fire and I would come out brand new! NFE is a reminder to myself of how far I have come and its a promise that as long as I keep fighting, I will make it through!
